I’ve been doing a little research and I just want to know opinions on what works the best to manage money and bills for a small business – also payroll for up to 5 employees.

We will be hiring a young lady to do some filing–extremely part time, like 1/2 day now and then. I am looking for a simple (cheap!) software program for figuring her payroll. Any suggestions?
I forgot to mention that I am in California. I appreciated the free software that one member referred to, but it was for Australia! (thanks anyway!!)
